dear 10-year old me

i know youre not thinking about the future beyond tomorrow or the end of the week. but im here to tell you that the next ten years will not get any easier. if anything, they get a hell of a lot harder. your parents get divorced, your best friend hangs himself, and you dont get your license for a while, so you drive your truck illegally and when you do go to school you park illegally too, racking up thousands of dollars in tickets. you think your hott shit and no one can talk any sense into you. then you get in an accident and break tons of bones and your body needs to recoop so you sleep for many, many moons. and the hard part hasnt even started yet, for when you wake up you have to relearn everything and as much as youre going to hate that, it makes you into a stronger person, both literally and figuratively. enjoy life while its easy because as much as you think you want to grow up and get big, it really sucks at times. make sure you tell people you love them, before its too late. and always remember to be choosy about who you kiss. i know about what happened with connor williams.
