lies

the last time i was lied to was last night. im at work and talking to one of my fellow workers and i had asked him something and he answered and then laughed and i was like "so thats a lie" and he just laughed more and i said something along the lines of how, typically, when people lie to you, they refuse to look you before they lie and/or they laugh after, like he just did. i have an unfair advantage though, because i want to go into deception detecting psychology. i seem to have a pretty natural knack for it, or something. i think when youre lied to about pretty much everything, you start to recognize when youre lied to. have you ever seen the show "lie to me"? its no longer airing but when it was, i loved it. thats what made me realize what i want to do with the rest of my life.
