I'm thinking of the movie Dear John. When Savannah says the words, "have you ever noticed how big the moon is when it's rising but how little it is when it's in the sky?" John replies "did you know that no matter where you are in the world, if you hold your thumb up to the moon, and close one eye, it's never bigger than your thumb?" That's probably true haha I've never tried it, but I'm sure it's true.
The sun. The sun is so bright. Helpful when I'm cold, as I often am, but have you ever noticed that it's pretty impossible to look straight into the sun? Like so hard. It's not even that bright. Idk. I guess you can look into the sun with sunglasses on but why would you want to?
Stars. I took astronomy last semester. The only thing I remember is that I got like a D- in that class. I had a peer tutor and she didn't really help at all. I still love her, but she just sat in class playing sudoku on her iTouch. She did nothing to help. I have memory issues so it would have been helpful if she would have texted me to remind me that stuff was due.
